“This exciting initiative brings art into the heart of the PhinneyWood community by transforming ordinary signal boxes into vibrant, meaningful works of public art. Through this project, we aim to foster creativity, community connection, and neighborhood pride by highlighting the unique spirit of our area through local artists' perspectives.”
In my signal box design, I illustrated some local flora and fauna that can be found in the PhinneyWood neighborhood, along with some local architecture and street critters. I thought it was important to showcase the beauty of this neighborhood via colorful illustrations of the scenery.
